Amelia liked Starbucks. The smell, the taste, the sights-- she could almost always walk into a given Starbucks and, within half an hour, find a cute boy to buy her a frappucino. And the type of boy tended to be much less skeezy than the ones you'd find at bars that she couldn't get into anyway.

Today she sat nibbling on a biscotti, wings tucked carefully behind her back, glancing up whenever she beat her level of Candy Crush to scope out the prospectives.

Leans in to give her a gentle peck on her lips.

"Not mean~ I just want you to see it when it's perfect. A drink then?" He offers her his arm.

Amelia hums, crinkling the corners of her nose as he kisses her. "You certainly know how to be persuasive."

"Well I certainly do my best to be dashing," he says. He takes her by the hand do try and lead her down the stairs.

She allows herself to be led, following lightly after him. "Oh, you do a great job."

"Glad to hear it." He brings her down to the kitchen. "Now then, would you like macarons?"

"Oooh!" Amelia claps her hands together excitedly. "Those little cookie burgers?"

Francis freezes. Cookie burgers....?

H-how utterly undigified! Macarons are nothing like that!!

"They aren't anything like burgers!" he protests. "They're not meat or bread and they don't even look like burgers!"

[ladyliberty]

"No they do!" Amelia holds up her hands as if gesturing with an invisible macaron. "They've got two little buns and then the icing-patty in between."

[inthefrenchstyle]

"....Icing patty...??" He shakes his head. "Non, non, non, you are mistaken. Pattys are... ground up flesh, nothing like the sweet sugar insides of a macaron."

Still, he takes out the macarons and puts them in front of her.

"You're not some kind of vegan, are you?"

"No! My point is simply that the two images are incredibly different!!"

He picks up a macaron and pushes it against her lips- Food distraction!

Well good, she was worried there for a second. But he does know how to shut her up. She opens her mouth to accept the offering, making sure to lick at his fingers a bit as she does.

There, much better. He does arch a brow and puts a hand on her hip at how she licks him.

"Is it good?" he says, tone suggestive.

[ladyliberty]

"Mhm," Amelia grins, looking up at him through lowered eyelashes. And then, because she just can't resist, "Almost as good as burgers."

Is about to hit on her again at that flirtatious look, but then she speaks.

"How... how could you think burgers were better than macarons?? Especially homemade macarons?!"

Amelia bursts out laughing. "The look on your face is so priceless!"

Francis flushes at her teasing him and he grabs her, tickling her sides.

"Such a rude angel!"

[ladyliberty]

Amelia shrieks with laughter and squirms in. His grip. "I never said I was an angel."

He stops after a moment- now that the teasing was no longer focused on him- and he goes for valiant again, taking her hand and kissing it.

"How can you blame me for thinking it? You're as lovely as one!"

"Maybe so," Amelia smiles. "But looks can be deceiving."

[inthefrenchstyle]

"Then, what would you describe yourself as~?" He's honestly rather curious.

[ladyliberty]

She leans in close until she's murmuring against Francis' ear. "Wouldn't you like to find out."

[inthefrenchstyle]

Francis shivers at the breath on his ear. "I would actually," he says. Well this seemed as good an invite as any and he wraps an arm around her waist to pull her close.

[ladyliberty]

She doesn't wait for him to make the next move as she kisses him again, raising one leg against his side as she leans into him. This is much more fun than sitting still.

Though he's surprised by how forward she is, he's not in the least complaining. He moves to grip her thigh, and he turns to press her against the counter as he tries to deepen the kiss.
