Vidia would fly in whatever weather. As long as their was free time, she'd be out on that pitch, rain or shine. That particularly December Saturday was far from the 'shine' end of the spectrum -- more of a 'horrendous snow storm' sort of day -- but Vidia was headed out with her broom nonetheless, moving through the Great Hall as fast as she could...
Except perhaps being speedy wasn't always as good as Vidia thought, as she made a sharp turn around some students straggling between tables and thwacked someone upside the head with her broom.
Well, she could keep going. It wasn't like she'd hit them with the handle.
"No permanent damage, to be sure." Minerva made a show of brushing off her robes. "But I certainly don't appreciate being hit in the face, either. Were you never taught manners?"
"What?" The petnames were such second-nature that Vidia hardly thought about using them... When she realized what Minerva meant, she shook her head. "I wasn't trying for that."
[She fidgets, glancing over at the doors every time somebody walks through the nearby doors. The suspense of waiting for a boy is so romantic! Hopefully, Alfred would turn out to be just as cool on a date as he was when he was in class. Except more awake.
By the time he arrives, she's begun humming a tune and twirling her purse around.]
[Alfred was late, as usual, but he had a good excuse, really! He'd been getting ready. Alright, it sounded kinda girly, but you couldn't show up on a date looking like a slob, it was rude. But then all the stuff he'd wanted to wear was dirty and he'd had to pull together an outfit that didn't reek and still looked halfway decent. But eventually he showed up.
Spotting Tracy across the restaurant, he gave her a big grin and a wave and headed over to join her at the booth.]
[She flashes a grin at Alfred and hops up, then proceeds to allow him to just barely lead the way to the counter. Not too much, though -- a girl's gotta use the opportunity to squeeze her boy's hand as much as possible, right?]
They don't reallycare if you get a lot, y'know. Just threaten a lot and hope we get scared. I think Mama cares more than anybody at school, but I dunno how strict yours is.
( Lunch was a very important thing to Spain. For him, lunch was to Spain as dinner was to America. It was very important for there to be good food and most importantly, good company, or else the rest of the day could be ruined.
So when his boss and her boss suggest the two spend time together for the sake of furthering their relations, Spain finds his day ruined just thinking about lunch. It wasn't just a difference in personality... it was a difference in culture! Can a good siesta save a bad lunch break? Of course, a good siesta could fix anything...
Shuffling his feet some and looking around the city square at their choices, he finally asks, )
Where do you want to go? [America clasped her hands together behind her back, leaning in and grinning at Spain as she watched his face for reactions. Personally, she had thought the lunch suggestion was a great one. Spain was always fun and entertaining to spend time with. For instance:] You like tacos, don't you? We could go to Taco Bell. Or Chipotle! I vote Chipotle.
( His face instantly drops and he really can't help but shoot a look at her for the comment. Is he offended? Yeah he's just a little offended because he expected it but America please. He waves a dismissive hand in the air, trying to brush it off. )
Ay, don't worry about what I want. ( Which, spoilers: Isn't tacos. ) What do you want?
[This is horrible... no, beyond horrible. Yes, England has experience looking after rowdy and rough boys who like having their fun (Harry, please), but she still cannot figure how on Earth America managed to convince her so easily to take some days off so they could attend this year's Glastonbury Festival...
She liked to believe it was because America showed up on her London doorstep carrying his camping supplies and two tickets already, so she simply couldn't say no to him. But now that it has juuuuust stopped raining and there's mud and water everywhere, England is bitterly regretting it.
After cleaning up her glasses for the fifth time in a row, England sighs and adjusts the hairband that keeps her long hair up in a rather practical bun and looks up at her companion.]
Well, isn't this special. [Huff huff.] Don't tell me you had not thought this would happen, huh?

[She waved back with an enthusiasm that some would consider overwhelming, although she'd never doubt that Alfred could handle her.]
Before you even ask, I haven't been waiting too long. I just got here early, really! So, how are you? I mean, besides hungry.
